In Coventry, UK, in 1982, when I was 19, my life course was altered when I first had my birth chart interpreted. I was amazed, not just by the depth of knowledge the astrologer possessed about my private life, but by the understanding she had of my emotional nature, about which I am very private. At that moment, I knew I wanted to decipher the source of this divinatory power.
The Early Years
Learning the Craft
I attended night classes, balancing my thirst for astrology with my University studies. Juggling my day job with my real passion, I studied the writings of leading astrologers intently and started doing chart readings for friends and relatives. This rewarding period culminated in my earning the Diploma from the Mayo School of Astrology, UK in 1990. In those days, the practice of astrology required painstaking effort. There were no computer programs to assist in chart calculations, so very great attention to detail was required.
Deepening My Understanding

By 1991, I was offering semi-professional readings from the back of a shop in Bedford, UK. A year later, I set my sights on earning the Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London. Receiving my Diploma in 1993, at the time of my Saturn return at age 30, was a milestone. At the same time, my day job career was developing. I moved to Lancashire to pursue Welfare Rights work for people with disabilities in 1993. My interest in psychology led me to undertake a Diploma in Counselling in 2001. This helped me offer constructive emotional support to my clients.

Throughout my 30s and 40s, I relentlessly sought to deepen my understanding of astrology, devouring countless books and focussing on what astrology could truly offer my clients in personal understanding and forecasting. For me, this has been a lifelong mission to master an ancient tradition: seeking continuous improvement of my art.

Despite holding full-time positions in welfare and advocacy until 2013, I found fulfillment in providing astrological readings in my spare time. My life took an exciting turn in 2013 when I moved to New Zealand. Here, I began sharing my astrological insights with clients at monthly “Crystal Visions” events.
